Drawing 111030
Whoops…I forgot to post last weeks drawings. Neither of these look anything like the model. But it is an improvement from the previous week.

I am lucky to have friends who will sit and let themselves be drawn. It’s a creative exchange. I tried to do both of these fairly quick as I didn’t have a lot of patience today.

Looks like I need to find a new place to get my fix of drawing on Sundays for the summer. I hope I can fill it with outdoor sunny adventures painted in pastels. Last weeks drawing was the opposite. A rainy day fit for drawing inside. An umbrella suited the mood as well. (maybe I’ll [...]

I hated this one. I call it the “Green Goblin”. I have since moved on and kind of like it now. Thanks for the encouragement and slight art direction from my lifedrawing pal, Sierra.

I was able to focus more today and not jump from page to page. I did two pages but I am only showing one here… it is the one I spent more time on. Next time I would like to get the emotion back, which maybe I am lacking here because I did not rush [...]
Lifedrawing Session 110206
I’ve been attending lifedrawing recently. I only go once a week, but it’s a start. I decided to be a designer initially because I wanted a more practical way to use my skills as an artist. But somehow during school and through the last few years I lost the passion for putting image onto paper [...]
